Total Vacancies: 1365
Agniveer (Senior Secondary Recruit- SSR): 1,365 Posts (Male-1,120, Female-273)
Eligibility: Must have passed an Intermediate or equivalent course in any subject with Maths, Physics as main subjects.. Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science.
Age: Candidate should be born between 01.11.2002 – 31.04.2005. Only unmarried male and female candidates should apply.
Minimum Height Criteria: Male 157 cm, Female 152 cm. should be
Selection Process: Selection will be based on Shortlisting, Computer Based Online Examination (CBE), Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and Medical Examination.
Training: The course training for the candidates selected as firemen will begin in November next year at INS Chilka, Odisha. After successful completion of the training, the duties in the respective departments have to be performed.
Salary Allowances: Selected candidates will get Rs.30 thousand in the first year, Rs.33 thousand in the second year, Rs.35500 in the third year and Rs.40 thousand in the fourth year.
Computer-Based Examination: The question paper will carry 100 marks in Hindi/ English with a total of 100 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each. English, Science, Mathematics, General Awareness… There are questions at the intermediate level in four sections. The duration of exam is one hour. Negative markings will be enforced. One mark will be deducted for four wrong answers.
