Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)-2024
Brief Information: The Education Department is ready to conduct the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2024. The state education department has released a notification regarding the conduct of TET. Accordingly, the computer-based test will be conducted online from May 20 to June 3. Candidates can apply online from 27th March to 10th April. Tet will be organized in 11 district centers.

Eligibility
- Qualifications: Qualifying in TET is mandatory for appointment as a Government Teacher. They are eligible to write the Teachers Recruitment Test (TRT).
- DED qualification for TET Paper-1. 50% marks for general candidates and 45% marks for others are mandatory in Inter. Candidates who have done DED before 2015 are eligible even if they have 45% marks in INTER for general candidates and 40% marks for others.
- Degree and B.Ed should be required for TET Paper-2. 50% marks in degree for general candidates and 45% marks for others. BED before 2015 with 50% marks for general and 40% marks for others are eligible. Service teachers can also write TET.
Exam Pattern
- Exam Pattern: TET consists of two papers. 150 marks per paper. 90 in a general category, 75 for BCs, 60 for SC, ST, and disabled can be eligible. They are eligible to write TRT. The final rank of the candidates will be decided by giving 20 percent weightage to TET marks and 80 percent weightage to TRT marks.
Application Fee
- Application Fee: Rs.1000 for one paper; A fee of Rs.2,000 should be paid if two papers are written.

- Online Application Dates: Candidates can apply online from 27th March to 10th April.
- HallTickets Download Commencement: From 15th May.
- Exam Dates: Computer-Based Test will be conducted online from 20th May to 3rd June.
- Exam Timing: Paper-1 will be held from 9 AM to 11.30 AM, and Paper-2 from 2 PM to 4.30 PM.
Exam Result Release Date: June 12.
